In our modest, Midwest hometown we're lucky enough to have an explosive craft beer scene. Saint Louis and the surrounding area is home to a dozen craft breweries. Most of these brew masters are extremely bike friendly and some are straight up bike advocates. October in STL equals awesome beer events. Whether it's a Movie Monday at 4 Hands Brewing Co., Oktoberfest at Urban Chestnut Brewing, or the Great Pumpkin Harvest Festival at Schlafly Bottleworks.
All across the country, bikers and brewers are united to make sweet designs. Bikes have been inspiring beer since hipsters had glasses. If you're not quite sure if you're into craft beer, check out this style break down. Craft Beer doesn't have to equal dark or hoppy beer, and it's a fun way to ride and support local.
If your two-wheel style involves knobby tires and a dirt streaked face, be sure to check out this article by beer expert, Josh Martino on the 5 Best Beers for Mountain Bikers.
If you're on the road, you can always find a local spot to bike to.
