This is my second purchase from Retro and I couldn't be more thrilled- they have a lifelong customer! This jersey is super comfortable and great quality (love how lightweight it is and the full zipper). I've always been a fan of the design options from Retro, but riding down under the exchange rate makes it hard to be a little different. Thankfully I found this on the clearance line, and in my size.
I'm 187cm, about 100kg (sorry I can't do imperial). The last jersey from Retro I got in XXL. This was a little form fitting for me - the tummy didn't help! Yes I'm a MAMIL.
The construction, the fabric and the design have all been fine. It isn't any warmer or cooler than any other similar jersey, and it's pretty hard to compare on the recent 35 - 37c sticky summer afternoons of late - you sweat heaps, and it evaporates through the fabric. Kind of how it's supposed to.
The drawcard is the original and stand out designs - I'm no one for the TDF team wannabe jerseys, so these out there, bright look-at-me-Mr Car Driver designs are what I'm looking for. And if folks remark on them that helps the ego a it too, like my Grinch shirt for last Christmas!
I will keep looking for the sales, they are a bargain, comparing to what you pay for these sorts of shirts at the bike shop. Great stuff, keep it going. Now for some truly out there knicks! Russell, Sydney OZ on 10th Dec 2015
