This jersey harkens back to the early days of the space race; perhaps it is an allusion to the V2 rockets that showered down on Britain near the end of WW II, or perhaps to Sputnik, or simply a boy’s or girls delight in pretending to be a space ranger. There is very little information available on this head badge or the company behind it other than the fact that it was made in England. It is possible that the crown on top of the head badge indicates that the company supplied the Royal Family and possessed a Royal Warrant. In any case, apparently the company no longer exists.
